HamsterFi is operated by 288 Labs, LLC ("we", "us"). By using HamsterFi, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
HamsterFi is an envelope-style budgeting app for households. You manually allocate your income into budget categories ("jars") and track spending against them. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
No account is required — you can use HamsterFi anonymously, with your budget saved securely on our servers and tied to your device. You may optionally sign in with Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) to access it across devices; if you do, you are responsible for keeping access to that provider account secure. You must be at least 13 to use HamsterFi. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Household → Delete Account in the app.
HamsterFi offers an auto-renewable subscription, HamsterFi Pro, purchased through Apple: $7.99 / month or $59.99 / year. Pro unlocks unlimited jars and unlimited household members. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings after purchase.
Do not reverse-engineer the app, attempt to disrupt the service, or use HamsterFi for any unlawful purpose.
HamsterFi is a personal budgeting tool. It does not connect to your bank and all amounts are entered manually by you. Nothing in the app is professional financial, tax, or legal advice. Use your own judgment.
HamsterFi and its content are owned by 288 Labs, LLC. You retain ownership of the budget data you create. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the service.
You may stop using HamsterFi and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 288 Labs, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which 288 Labs, LLC is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and dated above.
